Our
big production for 2011 in November was "The Canterbury Tales",
as adapted by Dave Hollis. It was a colourful recreation of five of Chaucer's
famous bawdy and robust tales set by a group of traveling pilgrims who gather at
the Tabard Inn. It
was a hilarious romp, in the authentic atmosphere of the Medieval
period in the true spirit of the original, with all its vibrance and
hearty comedy. |

"Double Act" is the amateur drama group that was formed in 1997 by the amalgamation of The Purbeck Community Theatre and The Corfe Valley Drama Group. We present a major production every year in November. The objective of this site is to inform you, our visitor, of current and future Double Act activities whilst also acting as an archive for past productions.
